O'Neal Returns To Lineup, Pacers Victorious

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers kept pace in the race for the final Eastern Conference playoff berth, defeating the lowly Miami Heat 105-85.
Danny Granger led Indiana with 23 points with Mike Dunleavy adding 18 as the Pacers won their second game in a row and their sixth in their last eight games.
Jermaine O'Neal scored nine points over 18 minutes as he made his return to the Pacers lineup. O'Neal had missed two and-a-half months with soreness in his left knee. The Pacers went 12-and-21 during his absence.
The six-time all-star also had a pair of rebounds and a blocked shot as he tries to give the blue-and-gold a boost for the stretch run.
Daequan Cook led Miami with 16 points with Kasib Powell and former Notre Dame star Chris Quinn adding 15 as the Heat dropped their fourth in a row.
Pacers Still Seeking Playoff Berth
The Pacers were unable to gain ground on eighth-place Atlanta as the Hawks were easy winners last night in Memphis.
Indiana hits the road for their next two games, travelling to Boston on Wednesday and Milwaukee on Friday.
