Indians Win Four Straight
(SYRACUSE, NY) - Steve Pearce’s RBI single in the top of the seventh gave the Indianapolis Indians a 4-3 win over the Syracuse Chiefs.
Pearce had driven home the Tribe's first run with an RBI single in the third with Matt Kata scoring on a passed ball later in the inning to tie the score at 2-2.
The Chiefs would regain the lead with a run in the bottom of the third before Kata tied the game again with an RBI single in the top of the fifth.
After losing their first two games of the season, the Indians have won four straight. They face the Chiefs in game three of the four-game set tonight in Syracuse.
