Helio Looks For Repeat Win This Weekend At St. Pete

(ST. PETERSBURG, FL) - The IndyCar series teams are arriving in St. Petersburg for this weekend’s Indy Grand Prix Of St. Petersburg.
It is the first street course event of the season and will introduce the series' enhanced "knockout" qualifying procedure for road and street courses this season.
The entries will be separated into two groups for a 20-minute qualifying session with the top six in each group advancing to round two. Another 15-minute session will reduce the twelve remaining cars to six, with those six competing in a ten-minute session to determine the pole winner.
Qualifying is scheduled for Saturday morning with the race on Sunday afternoon.
Scott Dixon won last Sunday's race at Homestead-Miami Speedway and holds the early points lead. Helio Castroneves is the defending pole and race winner on the streets of St. Pete.
