(BLOOMINGTON) - This afternoon Indiana University freshman Eric Gordon announced he will enter the 2008 NBA draft.
Gordon was joined by his family this afternoon during his announcement. New IU men's basketball coach Tom Crean was also present at the press conference giving his support towards Gordon's decision.
Gordon averaged 20.9 points this season and was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year.
During the announcement Gordon noted, "I'm doing this to compete at the highest level."
