(INDIANAPOLIS) - Conquest Racing announced Thursday that Indy Pro Series veteran Jaime Camera will replace rookie Franck Perera in the #34 car for the remainder of the IndyCar Series season.

Perera is 16th in points but team owner Eric Bachelart says that a loss of two sponsors was the primary reason for the change.

Camara spent three seasons in what is now the Firestone Indy Lights Series and won the Freedom 100 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2005.

His first start for his new team will be this weekend as the IndyCar Series races at Kansas Speedway on Sunday.
