Colts Announce Preseason Schedule Change
(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts released their final preseason schedule on Thursday.
The schedule contained one major revision as the horseshoes' second game will be on the road against the Carolina Panthers. The tentative schedule had the Colts travelling to Detroit to face the Lions.
They open the preseason on August 3rd when they face the Washington Redskins in the annual hall of fame game at Canton, Ohio. They travel to Carolina to play the Panthers on August 9th and will play at Atlanta on August 16th.
The Colts will open new Lucas Oil Stadium on August 24th against the Buffalo Bills before closing out the preseason on August 28th at home against Cincinnati.
The regular season gets underway on Thursday, September 4th with the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants hosting Washington.
The Colts will play host for the first Sunday night game of the season as they take on the Chicago Bears in the first regular season game at Lucas Oil Stadium.
