(HOUSTON, TX) - The Indiana Pacers open a key three-game road trip tonight in Houston against the surging Rockets.

The Pacers have won two-straight to move to within two games of New Jersey for the eighth and final playoff berth in the East.

Despite losing all-star center Yao Ming for the season, the Rockets have kept on winning. Houston has strung together a team-record-tying 15-straight wins.

The trip doesn't get any easier from there as the Pacers head on to San Antonio to face the defending NBA Champion Spurs on Thursday before winding up in Cleveland on Saturday to face the defending Eastern Conference champion Cavaliers.
