Pacers Snap Losing Streak, Defeat Supersonics

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers snapped a three-game losing streak with a 114-107 win over the Seattle Supersonics.
Mike Dunleavy led Indiana with 32 points with Danny Granger finishing with 23 and Troy Murphy adding 19.
The game was close throughout with the key run taking place early in the fourth quarter when the Pacers scored six-straight points to extend a three-point lead to a 96-87 advantage. They were never seriously challenged after that.
Rookie Kevin Durant paced the Sonics with 27 points as Seattle dropped its fifth-consecutive game.
The Pacers improve to 25-and-39 and pull to within a game and-a-half of eighth-place Atlanta for the final playoff berth in the east. The Hawks and the ninth-place New Jersey nets had the night off.
The Chicago Bulls beat Utah at home last night to tie the Nets for ninth place a half-game behind Atlanta with the Pacers moving into sole possession of Eventh place, a half-game ahead of idle Charlotte.
Indiana hits the road for two games this weekend beginning in Dallas on Friday night and wrapping up in Orlando on Saturday.
