(PORTLAND, OR) - Former Indiana Mister Basketball Greg Oden practiced for the first time with the Portland Trail Blazers since undergoing season-ending knee surgery.

The seven-footer from Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis had microfracture surgery last fall and has not played in an NBA regular season game.

He spent 45 minutes on Wednesday participating in offensive drills.

Oden played collegiately at Ohio State, leading the Buckeyes to the national championship game last season. He was the number-one overall pick in last summer's NBA Draft.
