(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - There is still no word from interim Indiana University Basketball Coach Dan Dakich regarding the status of starting guard Jamarcus Ellis for Friday’s game in the Big Ten Tournament.

Ellis was suspended for last Sunday's regular-season finale at Penn State for an unspecified violation of team rules.

Dakich said at his weekly news conference on Tuesday that he would like for Ellis to play, but said that it is up to Ellis to show he deserves to return to the team.

Ellis is IU's leader in assists and steals this season and is second to D.J. White in rebounding.
