"Booger" McFarland Signs With Steelers
(PITTSBURGH, PA) - The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed former Colts defensive tackle Anthony “Booger” McFarland according to a report from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
McFarland missed the entire 2007 season after suffering a knee injury during training camp. He was released by the Colts in February after failing a physical.
McFarland spent the first seven years of his pro career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before being traded to the Colts for a second-round draft pick in October of 2006.
He appeared in eleven regular-season games and four postseason games, including Super Bowl 41, in his one season with the Colts.
