Boilers Open Tourney Play In Nation's Captiol

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The Purdue Boilermakers are off to the nation’s capitol as they will open NCAA tournament play Thursday afternoon in Washington D.C. against Baylor.

The Boilers received the #6 in the West region at 24-and-8. The Bears are 21-and-10 under former Valparaiso Head Coach Scott Drew and have the #11 seed.

Purdue lost their opener in the Big Ten Tournament to Illinois last Friday night. Baylor was upset by Colorado in double overtime in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament.
