Boilermakers Open Big Ten Tourney Play Friday Night

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - #16 Purdue opens play in the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament tonight as they face Illinois.
The Boilermakers own the #2 seed in the tournament and enter the postseason with a 24-and-7 record. The Illini are the #10 seed and advanced with a last-second 64-63 win over Penn State in the opening round.
Purdue swept Illinois during the regular season, winning at Mackey Arena 74-67 on January 19th and completing the sweep with an 83-75 victory in Champaign on February 2nd.
