Colts To Play In 2008 Hall Of Fame Game
(ASHBURN, VA) - With at least a hall-of-famer or two on their roster, the Indianapolis Colts are headed to the hall of fame.
The Colts will take part in the NFL's 2008 preseason opener, playing against the Washington Redskins Sunday, August 3rd in Canton, Ohio, in the annual hall of fame game.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the matchup on Sunday. The game, which takes place a day after the 2008 Hall of Fame induction ceremony, will be the first for new Redskins Coach Jim Zorn, who was named their head coach Saturday, and it will be Indianapolis' first appearance in the game since 1996, when they beat the New Orleans Saints.
Among the hall of fame inductees that weekend are former Redskins Art Monk and Darrell Green.
