Lady Bluejackets End Regular Season With Loss
(AUSTIN) - The Lady Bluejackets led the charge but lost the battle Tuesday night, falling to the Austin Lady Eagles, 62-61.
Natalie Morris led the Lady Bluejackets with 20 points. Amanda Trambaugh tossed in 16 and Shelby Wilson claimed 13 points of her own.
During the matchup, Wilson hit her head on another player's knee and as a precaution, Wilson was placed in a neck brace and was wheeled out at the end of the game on a stretcher.
The Lady Bluejackets wrap up their season with a 11-9 record. Mitchell has the next week off until Friday, February 8th when they host either Silver Creek or Charlestown in the Class 3A, Sectional 30 bracket.
