Indy 500 Reporter Palmer Dies At 75

(CAMBY) - Longtime Indianapolis 500 reporter Lou Palmer has died at age 75.
Palmer was a pit reporter at the 500 for 25 years, then spent two years as the lead announcer on the Speedway Network's race coverage before retiring after the 1989 race.
Palmer was a news anchor at WIBC radio in Indianapolis for two decades.
