Bluejackets Struggle Against Pirates
(MITCHELL) - The Pirates of Charlestown claimed a victory at The Hive of the Mitchell Bluejackets Saturday night, 69-49.
The Bluejackets struggled in the first quarter, claiming only 3 points compared to 22 by a dominating Charlestown squad. Mitchell would bring their losing margin to 8 points by the end of the second quarter, trailing 34-26 before exiting to the locker room at the half.
Evan Sanders led the Bluejackets with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 4 blocked shots but it wasn't enough as Mitchell now falls to 5-8 on the season.
