Ratliff Now Eligible, But Not Healthy For Hoosier Start
(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - AJ Ratliff will be able to return to the Indiana basketball team when the Hoosiers face Coppin State on Saturday, but the senior guard from Indianapolis still may not play.
Ratliff missed IU 's first ten games after being declared academically ineligible for the fall semester. He made grades, but turned his right ankle in practice on Tuesday.
X-rays were negative but Head Coach Kelvin Sampson says there was swelling in the ankle and that he does not expect Ratliff to play.
The 14th-ranked Hoosiers enter Saturday's game with a 9-and-1 record and have won five in a row.
