Purdue Suffers First Loss At Home
(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Shane Nichols’ basket with 2.1 seconds remaining gave the Wofford Terriers a 69-66 win over Purdue in a Las Vegas Classic game at Mackey Arena.
Junior Salters led Wofford with 13 points while Nichols finished with ten as the Terriers improve to 5-and-4.
Keaton Grant led the Boilermakers with 17 points with Robbie Hummel adding ten as Purdue suffers its first home loss of the season to fall to 7-and-3.
The Boilers now head to Vegas for their final two games in the Las Vegas Classic starting with Iowa State on Saturday night. You can hear all of the action starting at 9:30pm on South Central Indiana's sports leader, 1340 AM WBIW.
