Purdue Spoils Louisville At Wooden Tradition
(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Purdue Boilermakers earned a quality 67-59 victory Saturday over the Louisville Cardinals in the Wooden Tradition at Conseco Fieldhouse.
The win for the Boilermakers denied Cardinals head coach Rick Pitino his 500th career win.
Freshman forward Robbie Hummel led the Boilermakers with 15 points, while sophomore guard Chris Kramer chipped in with 12 of his own from off of the bench.
The Cardinals were led by junior forward Terrence Williams who scored a game-high 17 points and pulled down nine rebounds.
With the victory, the Boilers improve to 6-2 overall, while the Cardinals fall to 5-3.
