Low-Scoring Game Sees Orleans Top Mitchell
(MITCHELL) - It was tight action at The Hive last night as the Orleans Bulldogs stepped into Bluejacket territory, and came out with a win.
The boys Bulldogs took the Bluejackets in an unusually low-scoring game, 44-31.
Jacob Smith was the Orleans player of the game leading in scoring with 21 points, while Mitchell's Evan Sanders took the same honors for the Bluejackets, leading in scoring with 9 points and 8 rebounds.
However, the junior varsity game between the 2 rivals went into double-overtime and Mitchell came out on top of that one, 40-35.
