Coach Sampson: Gordon In, Bassett Still Out

(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University basketball coach Kelvin Sampson says freshman guard Eric Gordon will be back in the lineup Saturday when the Hoosiers host Western Carolina.
Gordon missed last Saturday's 70-51 win over Kentucky after bruising his tailbone against Tennessee State on December 3rd.
IU will be without sophomore guard Armon Bassett. Bassett also missed the Kentucky game after being suspended for violating team rules.
Sampson says Bassett "still has some work to do" before he will be allowed to play again, but the coach did not elaborate.
