(PHOENIX, AZ) - Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard is already working to prevent scams when it comes to Indiana and Oklahoma State’s Insight Bowl at Sun Devil Stadium in Arizona.

Goddard says most scams involving tickets revolve around stealing personal information.

Goddard says it's safest to purchase tickets directly from the team or venue, but, if you decide to use a ticket broker, make sure it's one either you or the better business bureau are familiar with.

If you score tickets on an online auction site like eBay, don't let that auction holder bring you away from that website, the auction website's protections don't apply there.

Finally, never pay with wire transfer, cashier's check or money orders since there's no protection offered after-the-fact to you, the purchaser.

If you get taken in a scam but pay by credit card, the card issuer can usually get your money back.
