Pacers Take Portland On The Road

(PORTLAND, OR) - The Indiana Pacers made it 2-for-2 on their western road trip with a 95-89 win over the Trail Blazers in Portland.
Danny Granger scored 23 points as the blue-and-gold returned to the .500 mark at 8-and-8. Three other pacers, Mike Dunleavy, Jamaal Tinsley and Jeff Foster, had double-doubles.
Dunleavy scored 20 points and grabbed eleven rebounds. Tinsley hit a pair of key baskets down the stretch and finished with 15 points and ten assists. Foster added eleven points and a game-high 17 rebounds
Foster was starting in place of Jermaine O'Neal, who missed his fifth-straight game with knee and calf injuries to his left leg. O'Neal worked out before the game, but Head Coach Jim O'Brien does not want O'Neal to dress until the six-time all-star is healthy enough to play extended games to maintain the team's continuity on offense and defense.
Travis Outlaw led Portland with 26 points with Lamarcus Aldridge adding 22.
The Pacers have won five of their last seven games heading to a Friday night matchup in Seattle against the Supersonics.
