(WEST LAFAYETTE) - Purdue Coach Joe Tiller is dismissing junior wide receiver Selwyn Lymon from the team after he was arrested for drunken driving and resisting arrest.

Tiller says Lymon is "the victim of making some very poor choices."

Lymon was arrested Sunday morning in West Lafayette. Police say he had a blood-alcohol content of .15, nearly double the legal limit for driving in Indiana.

He is being held without bond in the Tippecanoe County Jail. Authorities filed drunken driving and other charges against Lymon in September, following a March 20th fight outside a West Lafayette nightclub during which he was stabbed in the chest.
