Cardinals Fall To Illini

(UNDATED) - The Ball State Cardinals fell to the Fighting Illini of Illinois 28-17.
Sophomore quarterback Juice Williams had a strong day for the Fighting Illini, completing 7-of-15 passes for 145 yards, and rushing for 99 yards and two touchdowns.
The Illini were led in the ground game by junior running back Rashard Mendenhall who rushed for 189 yards and two touchdowns.
Cardinal QB Nate Davis played well despite the loss. Throwing for 167 yards and a score, and also rushing for 64 yards on 12 carries.
