Purdue's Taylor Back In Six Weeks, Says Tiller

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Purdue Head Coach Joe Tiller says starting tailback Jaycen Taylor could be back earlier than he expected.
Taylor broke his left arm in the first quarter of the Boilermakers' win over Central Michigan last weekend and had surgery on Monday.
Tiller says it was a clean break and that junior could be back in six weeks if his recovery goes well. Tiller originally expected Taylor to miss the rest of the season.
With Taylor out, Kory Sheets moves back into the starting lineup as the Boilers open Big Ten play this Saturday at Minnesota.
