Despite Record, Dungy Notes Room For Improvement
(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts have the day off and will return to the practice field on Wednesday. The Colts host the Denver Broncos at the RCA Dome on Sunday.
Despite a 3-and-0 record, Head Coach Tony Dungy spent much of his weekly news conference on Monday discussing areas the Colts need to improve on.
Dungy is looking to reduce the number of penalties and is looking for better kick coverage on special teams.
Dungy also said that the red zone offense, which scored three touchdowns and three field goals in six trips, was improved but not up to the Colts' standards.
