(DENVER, CO) - It appears that Jay Cutler’s homecoming will come off as scheduled Sunday.

The Denver Broncos quarterback suffered an ankle injury in Sunday's loss to Jacksonville.

The Santa Claus, Indiana native says that the ankle is sore but that he expects to get a full week of practice in and will be ready to play on Sunday.

The last time cutler played in the RCA Dome was in November of 2000 when he led Heritage Hills High School to the IHSAA class three-a title with a championship game win over Zionsville.
