Cornhuskers Slip Past Ball State

(UNDATED) - In a surprisingly close contest, Nebraska narrowly gets past Ball State by a score of 41-40.

Kicker Jack Hogue, who won the game against Navy with a field goal in overtime, had an 55 yard field goal with just 12 seconds in the game sail wide-left.

Nate Davis had another monster game for the Cardinals... completing 26 of 43 passes for 422 yards and three touchdowns. MiQuale Lewis also had a strong game, rushing for 123 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.

As a team, the Cardinals finished with 610 total offense yards, while the Huskers compiled an equally stout 552.
