(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Veterans Rick DeMulling and Keith O’Neil were the most notable casualties of the Indianapolis Colts’ cutdown to 75 players.

DeMulling was in his second tour with the colts, having started 41 games on the horseshoes' offensive line between 2001 and 2004 before leaving for the Detroit Lions via free agency. His contract was terminated.

O'neil, who was placed on injured reserve with a chest injury, played primarily on special teams in his two seasons in Indianapolis.

Quarterback Mike McGann, wide receivers Aaron Brown and Brian Hare, offensive tackle Gabe Hall, defensive backs Norman Lejeune and Cedrick Holt and defensive linemen Noland Burchette and Tom Johnson were waived.

The final cuts to get the roster to 53 players must be made by Saturday afternoon.
