Sanders' Return To Colts Welcomed

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Bob Sanders was back at practice Wednesday as the Indianapolis Colts began preparing for Saturday night’s preseason game with the Detroit Lions.
Sanders was placed on the physically unable to perform list at the start of training camp as he recovered from off-season surgery on his left shoulder. Barring a setback, Sanders will see some action against the Lions.
Sanders made the Pro Bowl in 2005 and his return from injury during last season's playoffs was a key to the Colts' improvement on defense during their Super Bowl run.
Veteran tight end Brian Fletcher and rookie tight end Gijon Robinson sat out Colts practice Wednesday with injuries suffered against the Chicago Bears on Monday night. Fletcher suffered an ankle injury while Robinson is sidelined with a thumb problem.
The Colts re-signed tight end Matt Farbotko, who was with the team as an undrafted rookie free agent earlier this summer. The Colts released former Ball State punter Reggie Hodges.
