O'Neal Addresses Trade Rumors

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indiana Pacers forward Jermaine O’Neal says he was not making an official trade request when he said he would “welcome a trade” to the Los Angeles Lakers.
O'Neal made his comments at a charity basketball game Sunday in Los Angeles. He did not play in the game as he is recovering from offseason knee surgery.
The Pacers and Lakers reportedly have discussed a deal involving O'Neal, but the sticking point has been the Lakers refusal to include center Andrew Bynum in the deal.
