Colts To Release Simon

(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - Indianapolis Colts Owner Jim Irsay says he expects to release former Pro Bowl defensive tackle Corey Simon shortly.

Simon has been on the non-football illness / injury list since last October.

Simon said he would show up for training camp in Terre Haute on Sunday when players were scheduled to report, but did not pass his physical.

The team is trying to negotiate a settlement with Simon before giving him his release.
