Colts Players To Sit Out Preseason Opener
(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts will hold one practice this morning before heading to Dallas for Thursday night’s preseason opener with the Cowboys.
The Colts will head south short of defensive players with Anthony McFarland expected to miss much if not all of the season with a knee injury. Defensive linemen Robert Mathis, Bo Schobel, and Ben Ishola, linebackers Clint Session and Keith O'Neil and safeties Bob Sanders and Brannon Condren are expected to sit out Thursday's game.
The Colts have released former Michigan quarterback John Navarre and are expected to fill his roster spot with some defensive help.
