New Course For Indy MotoGP In 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - MotoGP riders will travel a new 2.601 mile course when they race in Indianapolis in 2008.

Officials from the Indianapolis Motorspeedway released further information regarding the previously announced MotoGP race at the IMS on Monday afternoon.

The inaugural Red Bull Indianapolis GP will be held September 14, 2008 rain or shine.

Construction on a new 16-turn motorcycle course has already begun at the IMS and all three classes competing in the Red Bull inaugural event will tackle the new layout.
