Indians Fall To Clippers In Columbus
(COLUMBUS, OH) - George Lombard drove home the go-ahead run in the fifth as the Columbus Clippers held off the Indianapolis Indians 5-3.
Lombard's second RBI single of the game off tribe starter Bryan Bullington broke a 2-2 tie. Collin Balester allowed two runs on four hits over six innings to even his record at 1-and-1 while Bullington took the loss, falling to 10-and-5.
Michael Ryan hit his eleventh home run of the season for the Indians, who wrap-up the four-game series in Columbus tonight.
