Bats Whack Indians At Louisville
(LOUISVILLE, KY) - Jesse Gutierrez broke up a scoreless pitchers’ duel with a solo home run in the eighth to power the Louisville Bats past the Indianapolis Indians 1-0.
Gutierrez hit his blast of Indians reliever Josh Sharpless as the Bats won their fifth in a row. Neither starter figured in the decision.
Louisville's Bobby Livingston went seven innings, allowing four hits while Tribe starter Michael Tejera gave up eight hits over six innings.
The two-game series winds up tonight in Louisville.
