(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Brad Eldred and Russ Johnson hit back-to-back home runs in Indianapolis’ four-run first inning as the Indians defeated the Louisville bats 4-3.

Humberto Cota put the Tribe on the board with an RBI groundout before Eldred followed with a two-run blast, his seventh of the season. Johnson then tagged Louisville starter Richie Gardner.

Luis Munoz picked up the win for Indianapolis, allowing three runs on seven hits and striking-out seven over six innings in his triple-a debut.

Joey Votto and Aaron Herr hit back-to-back solo shots for the Bats, who had their six game win streak snapped.

The Indians open a four-game series with the Norfolk Tides this evening.
