Lightning Strikes Home And Hotel

(FISHERS) - Several homes and a hotel in Central Indiana were hit by lightning during Tuesday’s thunderstorms.
In Fishers, lightning struck a Studio 6 motel. A hotel occupant was on the telephone at the time of the strike and received an electrical shock.
Lightning also struck a home and ignited the attic area. The fire burned a large section of the roof and attic and caused smoke, falling debris and water damage to the living area of the home.
Residents were able to safely evacuate.
