Hoeppner's Health In Question
(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indiana University Athletic Director Rick Greenspan says he is concerned about the health of football coach Terry Hoeppner, according to a published report.
In a question-and-answer session with the Indianapolis Star, Greenspan says that he had hoped that Hoeppner would be back to work by now and that the longer the coach is out, the more Greenspan is concerned about whether Hoeppner will return.
Hoeppner had a brain tumor removed in December of 2005 and underwent a second brain surgery last September.
Hoeppner did not conduct IU's spring practice, taking a leave of absence in order to address medical concerns. Assistant head coach bill lynch coached the team during the spring.
