Davis Extends Hitting Streak For Indians

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Rajai Davis extended his hitting streak to 21 games with a home run leading off the bottom of the first as the Indianapolis Indians defeated the Charlotte Knights 5-2.
Luis Ordaz and Brian Bixler added solo homers for the Indians, who have won two-straight over the Knights after dropping Friday's series opener.
John Van Bencshoten allowed a two-run home run to Charlotte catcher Wiki Gonzalez, but not much else, giving up six hits over five and two-thirds innings to improve to 6-and-3.
The four-game series winds up this evening at Victory Field.
