Mitchell Will Not Coach Pacers

(TORONTO, ONTARIO) - Sam Mitchell will not be the next coach of the Indiana Pacers.
Mitchell signed a four-year contract extension with the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday.
Mitchell, who spent part of his playing career with the Pacers, led the Raptors to the playoffs for the first time in five seasons and was named the NBA's coach of the year last week.
Mitchell was considered a favorite to replace Rick Carlisle as head coach of the Pacers.
