(SYRACUSE, NY) - The Syracuse Chiefs scored one run in each of the first four innings and snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-2 win over the Indianapolis Indians.

Howie Clark and Curtis Thigpen had RBI singles in the first and second innings, respectively, before Chad Mattola drove home the eventual game-winner with an RBI double in the third.

The Indians scored both of their runs in the fourth on RBI doubles by Russ Johnson and Nick Green as the tribe sees its five-game win streak come to an end.

The final game of the four-game series is tonight in Syracuse.
