Hoeppner Sends Thank You Message

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Indiana University football coach Terry Hoeppner issued a statement Tuesday thanking fans and friends who have been sending him get well wishes.
It is the first update from Hoeppner since he announced in march that he would miss IU's spring practice in order to attend to personal health matters.
Hoeppner underwent surgery in December, 2005 to remove a mass from his brain and then had a follow-up surgery last September.
Hoeppner says he expects to return to the team as soon as his health will allow.
