Two Players Leaving Purdue Program
(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Sophomore guard Chris Lutz and freshman forward Jonathan Uchendu have decided to leave the Purdue basketball program.
Head Coach Matt Painter said in a statement released late Tuesday night that both players are transferring to be closer to home and that the school will help them any way it can.
Lutz appeared in 34 games for the Boilermakers last season, averaging just over six points per game. Uchendu played in 27 games averaging just under two points per contest. He missed part of the season after being suspended following his arrest for public intoxication in late February.
