Pacers Playoff Hopes Still Alive
(MILWAUKEE, WI) - The Indiana Pacers’ playoff hopes received a boost on Wednesday night as the blue-and-gold beat the Bucks in Milwaukee 104-98.
Mike Dunleavy led the Pacers with 25 points, including four clutch free throws in the final eight seconds.
One night after hitting just two of 17 shots from the field, Danny Granger came back with 18 points and a career-high ten assists. Jmo Williams scored 17 of his team-high 23 points in the second half as the Bucks lost for the eleventh time in their last twelve games.
With the win and Orlando's loss in Detroit Wednesday night, the Pacers enter the final week of the regular season trailing the Magic by one game for the eighth and final playoff berth in the Eastern Conference.
Indiana's three-game road trip winds up Friday night at Miami.
