Indians Whack Mud Hens In Win

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Marty McLeary allowed one hit over five innings as the Indianapolis Indians defeated the Toledo Mud Hens 5-1.
Rajai Davis hit a two-run single in the second inning while Luis Matos added a two-run double in the Indians' three-run fifth. That would be all that McLeary would need as he retired the first 13 Mud Hens he faced before allowing a single to Ryan Rayburn with one out in the fifth.
Mike Hessman hit a solo homer off Indianapolis reliever Jesse Chavez in the seventh for Toledo's only run.
The three-game series comes to an end this afternoon at Victory Field.
