Indians Fall To Mud Hens

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Timo Perez hit a two-run double in the first as the Toledo Mud Hens cruised to a 6-2 win over the Indianapolis Indians.
Perez would add an RBI single in the ninth as former Indian Ron Chiavicci allowed a run over five innings to pick up his first win for the Mud Hens. Yurendell De Caster provided all of Indianapolis' offense with a solo home run in the third and an RBI groundout in the sixth.
Game-two of the three-game series is scheduled for tonight at Victory Field.
