Bob Knight Achieves Highest Basketball Wins

(LUBBOCK, TEX.) - Bob Knight has made sports history with the most wins in men’s college basketball.
His Texas Tech Red Raiders blew a 19-point lead against New Mexico, but regained the lead with just over two minutes left to beat the lobos 70-68.
The former I.U. coach now has 880 career wins, one more than North Carolina's Dean Smith. Knight collected 662 wins and three national championships at Indiana.
Indiana University president Adam Herbert issued a statement saying he is proud of Bob Knight's extraordinary career achievement.
